TO REQUEST A RECORD: Please provide the Metro Archivist with the folder number you need (along with meeting date) and the length of time you will need the record. Your request will be submitted for transfer, and you will be notified when requested documents arrive at the Metro Regional Center. NOTE TO FILE: Records from 1/04/1994 to 12/08/1999 have been microfilmed (See Reel No. 238 and 346). The Silver Masters are stored at the Oregon State Archives Security Copy Depository (for disaster planning purposes). Working (diazo) copies are maintained in the Metro Archives, and can be accessed by contacting the Metro Records Officer. NOTE TO FILE: The old Iron Mountain box number [359584571] has been retired. METRO ARCHIVE NOTES: Metro Council Committee History The Metro Council Regional Environmental Management Committee was previously named Solid Waste (1987-1995). In January 2001, the Regional Environmental Management Committee was renamed the Solid Waste and Recycling Committee. In January 2003, the Metro Council Solid Waste and Recycling Committee was disbanded (along with all Metro Council standing committees).
