March 15 is the annual deadline for petitions to amend the urban growth boundary. The Council may waive this deadline by resolution approved by five members.

In December 1997, the Metro Council adopted a resolution creating the Affordable Housing Technical Advisory Committee to review data and assist in drafting an affordable housing functional plan. Resolution No. 98-2629 appoints the members of this committee.
