Lloyd Crossing was a comprehensive study conducted to evaluate how to achieve a net reduction in overall environmental impact as development occurs in the Lloyd District of Portland, Oregon. The plan does not delve much into implementation strategies, but did focus a number of the major land owners in the area on the issue of sustainable urban design. It is in this context that a headquarters hotel for the convention center is being considered.
