Feasibility studies included evaluation of flow-through from Columbia River to Smith Lake and water quality impacts to the wetlands and North Slough if they were reconnected. Recommendations included: new water control structure to open wetlands to North Slough while allowing retention of water as needed; develop a way to augment flow into the wetlands; remove sunken barge in North Slough; and develop a water management and monitoring plan. |
