The OWRD conducted routine inspections of the water control structure and sent letters to Metro with any suggestions. They also periodically sent invoices to Metro for a water storage permit. Metro viewed these as a minor cost and readily paid them when received. This record is part of the Smith and Bybee Wetlands Natural Area Historical Records Collection.
