Tissues from several warmwater fish species caught in USFWS survey were evaluated for heavy metals and pesticides. Pesticides undetected except DDE; cadmium, lead and mercury detected. All at levels that did not warrant a fish advisory or closure. This record is part of the Smith and Bybee Wetlands Natural Area Historical Records Collection.
